WKU-PBS features noted authors on ‘OUTSIDE the BOOK’ series

Each year, WKU Public Television is invited to talk with authors at the Southern Kentucky Book Fest in Bowling Green. The seventh annual installment of OUTSIDE the BOOK premieres on WKU-PBS tonight (June 6) at 9:30 with encore presentations Sunday (June 9) at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Author and illustrator Jim Madison kicks off the first of three half-hour programs. This episode also includes comic book author Dr. Bruce Kessler, historic intrigue novelist Katherine Howe and garden gnome guru Chuck Sambuchino.
OUTSIDE the BOOK part two features interviews with Jason Howard, Amy Ignatow, Tim Wendel and illustrator and Kentucky native Stacy Curtis. The show premieres June 13 at 9:30 p.m. and repeats June 16 at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Southern Kentucky Book Fest 2013 headliner author, producer and writer Henry Winkler highlights the third and final installment of OUTSIDE the BOOK on June 20 at 9:30 p.m. and June 23 at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The program, shot live at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green, also includes authors Obert Skye, Jarrett Krosoczka and radio personality Bob Edwards.
