Hardin Planetarium, Kentucky Museum hosting 2016 spring break camps April 4-8

WKU’s Hardin Planetarium and Kentucky Museum will host spring break camps April 4-8.
Science Curiosity Investigation Camp: Leaving Footprints in Our Solar System is the theme for the 2016 spring break camp at the Hardin Planetarium for students in grades 3-6.
Participants will engage in fun, interactive investigations to stimulate curiosity, and encourage cooperative discovery and problem solving. Camp projects will include rockets and engineering, space travel and working/living on the moon or other bodies in the solar system.

Spring Break Clay Camp: Students in grades 1-6 will learn and build on their clay skills during the 2016 camp at the Kentucky Museum.
Campers will learn to use techniques such as pinch pot, coiling and soft slab. Work completed in this class will be fired after the camp and picked up at a later date.
The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Registration fee is $110 for Kentucky Museum members and $125 for non-members. Registration is limited to 20. To register, visit http://www.wku.edu/kentuckymuseum/education/camp_registration.php
