Western Kentucky University Mechanical Engineering Student International Undergraduate R&D Expo Competition Winner
Western Kentucky University Mechanical Engineering student Joseph Aroh competed in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International Undergraduate R&D Expo Competition in Tampa, FL on November 5, 2017. The event was held in concert with the 2017 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition.
Joseph presented his research titled “Deformation rate Correlations in Rolled Alloys” that was supported by a WKU FUSE grant and conducted under the guidance of Professor Chris Byrne. His poster presentation was awarded third place from the international mix of undergraduate researchers. Joseph took a short break from his NASA internship to attend the conference, and plans to graduate this December.
