Dear Colleagues,
As we prepare to conclude another vibrant academic year at WKU, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. Our campus has thrived, and we have celebrated numerous achievements of our students, faculty and staff, all of whom contribute daily to making WKU a place of excellence, learning and growth.
Now, as we approach final exams, I encourage you to continue doing all that you can to support our students. Your personal encouragement helps alleviate the pressure they may experience through final exams and course projects.
Next week, we will celebrate approximately 3,000 graduates as we conduct our Commencement activities. Please plan to join me in Houchens Industries – L.T. Smith Stadium on Thursday, May 2, to recognize the achievements of this graduating class and celebrate their transition to alumni. Topper Walk begins at 6:30 p.m. with Commencement immediately following. On Friday, May 3, each of our academic colleges will host a special recognition ceremony to celebrate their graduates in E.A. Diddle Arena. You can learn more about our schedule of Commencement activities here.
As we anticipate the next several months, whether you are teaching courses, traveling, participating in continuing education opportunities, working or resting, I wish you a safe and rejuvenating summer. I hope you use this important time to recharge and reflect on all you have accomplished while establishing the goals you aspire to achieve in 2024-2025.
Thank you for your hard work, passion and commitment to excellence.
Go Tops!
Best,
Timothy C. Caboni
