Hilltoppers,
Welcome home! We are incredibly excited to see our WKU Family back on the Hill and to begin a new year together!
As you adjust to all that a new semester brings, commit now to good study habits, to devoting the time and energy needed to achieve academic success, and to getting to know your faculty early on, regardless of whether your classes are online or in-person. And as we learn to live beside COVID-19, I ask that you also commit to WKU’s Healthy on the Hill protocols. Remember, it’s not just about you; it’s also about your fellow student Hilltoppers, our faculty and staff, and the communities in which we live. Please take two minutes to watch this important video for more information.
Additionally, we added a new COVID-19 feature to iWKU, our mobile app that provides you with instant access to useful information about WKU. You can now easily find links to important COVID-19 resources and even a daily self-check survey. To download the app, search for iWKU in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. A short video with more information is here.
Today marks a new beginning for every student at WKU, whether you are returning to campus or just beginning your journey on the Hill. Remember, a Hilltopper is never alone in this journey. If you need advice at any time throughout the semester, we want to help. Reach out to us, talk with your professors, and stay in close contact with your advisors. We want nothing more than to see you succeed, and we look forward to guiding you.
Here’s to a great semester together on the Hill!
Go Tops!
Best,
Timothy C. Caboni
