This year we are excited to partner with organizations and departments across campus to feature the experiences and stories of our students. As we think about student success and our teaching, it is critical that we consider our students and their perspectives. Through this series we strive to amplify the voices of our students and provide an opportunity for dialogue as we seek to clarify student expectations and experiences so that we might all achieve success in the classroom.
In this opening session, we will hear from incoming first year students who navigated their final years of high school during the pandemic as well as college students who have only experienced WKU during the pandemic. We will visit with these students about their expectations, how their first couple of weeks have gone and what faculty and staff can do to help them transition to college and a “normal” college setting.
If you have questions you would like to pose to our students, please submit those prior to the session by emailing micah.logan@wku.edu.
A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the webinar.
