Western Kentucky University’s 53rd Annual WKU Student Scholar Showcase, formerly known as the WKU Student Research Conference, will be held Saturday, April 1, at Downing Student Union.
The WKU Student Scholar Showcase will feature 231 research and creative projects -- 126 poster presentations and exhibits, 94 oral presentations and 11 performances – from graduate, undergraduate and Gatton Academy students in all disciplines. All student projects are mentored by WKU faculty and staff members. (More: 2023 Abstracts; Conference Program)
The conference keynote speaker is Dr. Rachel Tinius, Associate Professor in the WKU School of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport. Dr. Tinius will present Never Stop Learning: How the Desire to Learn Shaped a Career in Pregnancy and Clinical Research at 10:15 a.m. at Downing Student Union, room 3020.
All presentations are free and open to the public.
