The conference schedule features student presentations from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Downing Student Union. All presentations are free and open to the public.
The research and creative projects are organized into graduate sessions and undergraduate sessions with five to six presentations per session. Students are grouped into sessions based on the subject areas of their projects: natural sciences, social sciences and education, health and human services, arts and humanities, business, and interdisciplinary studies.
The WKU Student Scholar Showcase Council organizes the annual conference. Dr. Jenni Redifer, Interim Associate Provost for Research and Graduate Education, serves as Chair of the Showcase Council.
“We are excited for our student researchers and scholars to share their work at the Student Scholar Showcase. The Showcase is a celebration, and we invite all campus and local community members to attend,” Dr. Redifer said.
Funding for the 54th Annual WKU Student Scholar Showcase and other activities was provided by the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Office of Research and Creative Activity.
