- View from the Hill: Living Learning Community supports WKU business students: WKU’s strategic plan, “Climbing to Greater Heights,” is full of initiatives to increase retention, including expanding Living Learning Communities. WKU’s Amy Bingham finds out the advantages of living and learning together in the View from the Hill.
- WKU Fall 2018 Dean's/President's Lists: WKU has released the honors lists for the fall 2018 semester. Full-time undergraduate students with a semester grade-point average of 3.4 to 3.79 are named to the Dean’s List. Students with a GPA of 3.8 to 4.0 are named to the President’s List.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Women’s basketball: Lady Toppers Hold Off Fourth Quarter Louisiana Tech Rally for 81-76 Win: WKU led by as many as 21 points in the third quarter on Saturday afternoon before holding off a furious Louisiana Tech rally in the closing minutes for an 81-76 victory inside E.A. Diddle Arena. Dee Givens and Raneem Elgedawy each finished with 18 points for the Lady Toppers (12-9, 6-1 C-USA). Next: WKU at UTSA at 11 a.m. Thursday.
- Men’s basketball: Hilltoppers Conclude Flurry of Games with 62-50 Loss at Louisiana Tech: WKU Hilltopper Basketball once again built a halftime lead on the road Saturday, but couldn't hold on for a 62-50 loss at Louisiana Tech. Next: The Hilltoppers (11-10, 4-4 Conference USA) return home to face UTSA at 7 p.m. Thursday.
- Track & Field: Tops Rack Up Trio of Event Titles, 28 Top-10 Finishes at IU Relays: A trio of first-place finishes and 28 collective top-10 showings helped WKU Track and Field to another strong showing at this weekend's Indiana University Relays. The Hilltoppers saw Martin Owusu-Antwi and Ka'Ven Berry bring home titles while Myesha Nott claimed one for the Lady Toppers. Next: WKU at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invite on Friday and Saturday in Lexington.
- Tennis: Lady Tops Defeated by Govs at Austin Peay: WKU Tennis fell 7-0 in its match on Saturday to longtime rival Austin Peay at the Governors Tennis Center. The Lady Toppers were led by junior Lisa Friess who notched six game victories during her singles match. Next: WKU at Belmont on Saturday.
- Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15. More: Fan voting open for All Century Team.

- Hundreds show out to Iron Warrior Competition: The Mammoth Strength Challenge III, an event part of the Strong Man Corporation, brought men and women both together to compete at the WKU Ag Expo Center on Saturday afternoon. The day-long competition included deadlifting, overhead medley, a truck pull, stone carry and more.
