WKU in the News
- WKU to make key hires in coming months: WKU will make important administrative hires in the coming months as it continues advancing long-term building projects, a review of its academic programs and new budgeting practices.
- Campus ministries work to make a difference: Each day thousands of people are given the opportunity to make a donation that will save lives. On Wednesday, a Red Cross Blood Drive at the Preston Center brought in many people willing to give the gift of life.
- Mother, son find ‘The Tassel is Worth the Hassle’: On the surface, Triston and Kerrie Druen appear to be typical college students. They are both doing their best to balance life with their course load and are concerned about the questions on an assignment that is due in their next class. Except Kerrie and Triston are not your typical college students — they are mother and son. They do share a last name and the campus at WKU. Since Triston recently switched his major to the same as his mom, Organizational Leadership, they’ve started their first semester together — as classmates.
