MA Applied in Economics - Business Economics Concentration


 

The Business Economics concentration combines the economic theory and research methods with coursework from WKU's MBA and Business Data Analytics programs to prepare students for careers in the private sector. The program is ideal for students who want to advance their knowledge of economics and build their quantitative skills with the aim of applying them in business environment. 

This program also allows students to stack multiple credentials while earning their MA in Applied Economics. These can be earned by taking the following courses:

1 Students with prior credit for ECON 465 or its equivalent will be required to take 3 additional hours of electives.
2Electives shown are based on recently offered courses. Not all courses may be available and other electives may be offered. At least 12 hours of electives must be BA or BDAN courses. Up to 6 hours of graduate coursework can be taken outside the Economics department, subject to approval by the program director.
