Holton Student Grant
Holton Student Grant
Policy Statement for Dispersal of Grant Money to Students Seeking Support for Summer Internships or Educational Programming in the Field of Economics
Application
All students who seek financial support for summer internships or educational programming in the field of economics must complete the “Holton Student Grant Request Form”.
Selection of Student Grants
The selection of grant recipients will be made by a three member committee made up of faculty members in the Department of Economics. Funds are limited. As a result, grant requests will be ranked based on the marginal educational benefit that would be gained relative to the marginal costs of meeting said request.
Awarding of Grants
Grant recipients must show proof of acceptance into their specified internship/educational program in order to receive their grant.
Grant recipients are required to give a brief presentation to the economics department in the fall regarding what they learned during their internship/educational program.
