Kids will have an opportunity to learn how baseball is played correctly, learn drills, and compete in coach pitch games. Kids will have full access the WKU baseball facility and a chance to interact with current Hilltopper players and coaches! They will learn baseball the right way at a young age and get a head start on becoming a solid overall ball player while having a lot of FUN!!!!!

ATP is an orientation program required for all freshman and transfer students planning to register for classes on the Main or South Campus. ATP helps you become more familiar with Western Kentucky University and provides an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor from your chosen major in a small group setting. You will also register for classes and receive a copy of your class schedule.

On Saturday, June 20, 2015, the African American Museum|Bowling Green Area (AAMBGA) and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority-Bowling Green Alumnae Chapter will host the 2015 Juneteenth Community Festival from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The event will be hosted at the Erskine House at 1783 Chestnut Street. There will be activities, entertainment, arts and craft vendors, games, and food.
All are cordially invited to attend the opening ceremony and to join in the 2015 Juneteenth Community Festival. There is no admission fee; it is free for all to come and to enjoy. There are new Museum exhibits that will inform all of the work and achievements of the African American communities of Bowling Green.

The School of Teacher Education at Western Kentucky University is hosting a day of professional activities based on the theme Literacy Across the Curriculum with Keynote Speaker Pam Petty. In this one-day conference keynote speakers, subject experts, and practitioners in the field will share ideas and resources for emphasizing literacy across curricular topics.

Ray Harper Basketball Camps at Western Kentucky University offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of basketball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learner's attention, which results in attentive practice.
Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers through example by the Hilltopper coaches.

Camp Innovate is new to The Center in 2015 and is a day camp designed for advanced ability and high interest children who were in grades four or five during the 2014-2015 school year. The experience features hands-on and minds-on instruction to engage children in problem solving and learning at advanced levels. Students will explore a wide range of subjects from math and science to art and theater during their day. Numbers will be limited to 50 children.
