The Graduand Ceremony is a pre-commencement or pre-graduation ceremony for students who have completed one-fourth of their degree at WKU Glasgow. The ceremony honors students for their academic achievement.
The Graduand Ceremony is hosted at the Glasgow Plaza Theatre every semester for those students graduating in the fall or spring.
Every semester, WKU Glasgow selects a keynote speaker as well as a graduating student speaker. Additionally, students will aslo be congratulated by the Provost of Western Kentucky University and the Chancellor of WKU Glasgow.
On behalf of everyone at WKU Glasgow, we encourage classmates, friends, and family of graduating students to come out and see what the Graduand Ceremony is all about.
The Graduand Ceremony will be on December 3, 2015 and begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Glasgow Plaza Theatre. The keynote speaker for the Graduand Ceremony will be WKU alumna, Ms. Natasha Jackson!

After defeating Marshall 49-28 to win the Conference USA East Division title, WKU (10-2, 8-0 C-USA) will host the C-USA championship game at 11 a.m. CT on Dec. 5 at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
Tickets for the game can be purchased online now or by calling 1-800-5-BIG-RED from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The WKU Athletic Ticket Office will be open Saturday (Nov. 28) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to take championship game ticket orders.
Season ticket holders currently have their seats reserved, and those tickets can be purchased by going online to the “My Hilltopper Account.” Those tickets will be made available to the public if not purchased by 11:59 p.m. Monday (Nov. 30).
As a reminder, this is a Conference USA championship game and all tickets and parking have been set within Conference USA’s guidelines.
Ticket prices for the 2015 C-USA Football Championship are:
- Harbaugh Club – $100
- VIP Chairbacks – $40
- West side (Home) – $35
- Lower Level East – $30
- Upper Level East – $25
- Youth – $15
- Student Guests – $15
- Groups of 4 or more – $15
Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech will meet for the C-USA West Division title at 11 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 28).

WKU is headed south for bowl season in consecutive years as the 2015 Conference USA Champions have accepted their invitation to the 2015 Miami Beach Bowl, slated for a 1:30 p.m. (CT) kick on December 21 at Marlins Park.
Tickets for the game will be available Monday morning through the WKU Ticket Office in Diddle Arena. The deadline to order tickets will be Thursday, Dec. 10th at 5:30 p.m. All orders will be filled by HAF donor rank and mailed on Friday, Dec. 11th. Tickets, as set by the bowl, are $62.50 each.
