The Department of Political Science, Philosophy program, and Potter College of Arts & Letters are pleased to announce a free public lecture this April 11th at 12pm in Cherry Hall 302. This year's speaker is Dr. Lindsey Chambers (University of Kentucky) whose talk title is "Acting for Two? Why a pregnant persons' obligations to the fetus are akin to duties to the self".
Immediately after this event (from 1:30-6 pm), we will have our third annual WKU Philosophy Conference. At this event, 6 philosophy students from across the country (and, this year, even from Canada) and 4 WKU students will showcase their philosophical research. The conference is free and open to all WKU students, faculty, and staff, and to the broader Bowling Green community.
