WKU’s Cultural Enhancement Series and the Kentucky Museum host award winning artist Patrick Dougherty in October 2018 on WKU’s campus in Bowling Green, Ky. Dougherty created Highbrow, a sculpture made from intertwined tree saplings, on the Museum's front lawn.

Does whitewater kayaking interest you!? You’re in luck! ORAC is offering a step by step hands-on clinic in the Preston Center Natatorium on how to roll a whitewater kayak. Over the course of these two clinics, you will learn the fundamentals of how to safely roll a kayak, bracing skills, and paddle techniques to keep you sharp and focused when riding the rapids.

*Please arrive at ORAC 5-10 minutes before your clinic to fill out a waiver! Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot-boats are limited!

6. Click on Program Registration in the middle of the page!

11. This should take you to the Payment Summary Screen. Enter your payment info and hit Submit Payment.

Join us for a screening of the documentary Unfinished Spaces at the Museum. Cuba's ambitious National Art Schools project, designed by three young artists, Ricardo Porro, Vittorio Garatti, and Roberto Gottardi, in the wake of Castro's Revolution, is neglected, nearly forgotten, then ultimately rediscovered as a visionary architectural masterpiece.

International Year of Cuba: Havana Motor Club

The International Year of Cuba is hosting a Spring semester Cuban film festival. All screenings are at 7:00pm. This program is sponsored by the WKU Office of International Programs, English Department, and History department. 

Havana Motor Club, directed by Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker Bent-Jorgen Perlmutt, presents a fascinating look into Cuba's underground drag-racing scene, where car enthusiasts pursue their passion despite formidable obstacles in order to win approval for the first official race in half a century. This film will be screened on Apr 23rd in Cherry Hall 210.
