The cost of this training is $10.00.

Join us for a 2 hour live Zoom Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards: The Introduction to the Standards and Family Guides training.

The purpose of the Early Childhood Standards is to provide educators with a guide to preparing children for success in school, starting in infancy through four-year-olds. After taking this Introduction to the Standards and Family Guides session, participants will be able to describe the revisions to Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards, explain the purpose of the Standards and how they should be implemented, navigate the online Early Childhood Standards and companion Family Guides, and identify the alignment of the developmental continuum of the Standards.


Training Outcomes:

  • State the purpose of the Kentucky Early Childhood Standards and how they should be implemented
  • Explain the organization of the Kentucky Early Childhood Standards
  • Define the ways the KY Early Learning Standards align with other Early Childhood Programs
  • Identify partners who use the Early Childhood Standards
  • Identify the revisions of the Early Childhood Standards
  • Access and use the updated Family Guides and the Online Standards
