Join us for a 2 hour in-person, live Lesson Planning for Multiple Ages training.
Lesson Planning can take a good chunk of time from any provider’s day. Lesson planning when you have children of different ages and abilities can be an added challenge that may not be thought of when writing down a quick plan at the end of the week. So let’s talk about quality lesson plans, how to incorporate multiple ages, and create some templates for your program to takeaway.
Participants will learn and practice identifying Developmentally Appropriate Practice, discuss ways to simplify and extend learning opportunities, and brainstorm lesson plan activities to share with the group at large to practice making a lesson plan that meets KY Early Childhood Standards and Developmentally Appropriate Practices.
Training Outcomes:
- To identify Developmentally Appropriate Practices for multiple ages.
- To understand how to simplify and extend learning activities.
