The cost of this training is $10.00.

Join us for a 2 hour in-person, live The Science of Early Childhood training.

Many early childhood educators find it challenging to incorporate science into their lesson planning for children under 5 years old. This training is created to help educators be able to notice how science is in just about everything we do, especially with young children. The goal is to draw connections between what they are already doing and the KY Early Childhood Standards.

Trining Outcomes:

• Participants will discuss Kentucky Early Childhood Standards related to Science for children birth through preschool. There will be discussions focusing on the science objectives, how to identify the objectives in the learning environment, and how to create activities that highlight science among other developmentally appropriate areas.

• Participants will partake in brainstorming and demonstrative activities to assess their knowledge and understanding.

• Participants will describe science related aspects in their activities and environments.

• Participants will identify science objectives for infants through preschool in order to promote developmentally appropriate practice.
