- The Maya-Mexico study abroad program in the Yucatan will take place in Winter 2013 (December 29, 2012 – January 12, 2013)
- Through this program students can earn Honors Colloquia credit (HON 300) or Geography 475 credit

A two-week study abroad program in England will take place in Summer 2013. Through this program students can earn Honors Colloquia credit (HON 300) or Honors credit in English or Religious Studies 399. Taught by Dr. Clay Motley and Dr. Larry Snyder.

This semester, the Kentucky Honors Roundtable will be held on Murray State University’s campus. It is scheduled for Oct. 26th (starting around 6 p.m.) & 27th (ending around 2 p.m.), with presentations/posters scheduled for the morning of the 27th. Trip will be financed by the Honors College.
The proposal deadline to present at the Kentucky Honors Roundtable is Friday, October 12th. You can access the proposal submission form at the following website: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHhZalRpclNNTV9vMUxZaEtQUUV6aFE6MQ.
There will be only one presenter per abstract (you) and you will all want to do a presentation, not a poster or panel. Dr. Baylis will be the director of your proposal and will have approved your presentations. Once submitted, email a copy of your proposal abstract to Dr. Baylis along with a note stating your plans to attend so that she can include you on future emails concerning the meeting (hotel, travel…).

Posters-at-the-Capital is designed to celebrate the research, scholarly, and creative experiences of undergraduate students at Kentucky’s public institutions of higher education. It provides students with the opportunity to present their projects to state legislators and to impress upon them the importance of faculty-mentored projects to the overall education of Kentucky students. Poster presentations are being sought from undergraduates in ALL DISCIPLINARY AREAS.
The event will take place on February 21, 2012. The deadline for abstracts is October 17th. With your research advisor, please submit your abstract to the following link: http://campus.murraystate.edu/services/URSA/
