HON 251 is a required seminar that introduces honors scholars to civic inquiry and develops
their sense of civic agency through an exploration of self as an emerging citizen professional.
The goal is to provide students with leadership skills in using your WKU education to improve
society, your community, and/or your profession.
Honors scholars enrolled in an online summer HON 251 course will engage in a flipped
classroom style of learning through synchronous and asynchronous instruction and small group
discussions. The course has limited space, so enroll soon.
