Biography

Bridget Beavin is from Louisville, KY and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2023. She is a double major in Political Science and History and a JUMP student in the Master of Public Administration program. Along with Honors Toppers, she is also a member of the leadership council of Out in Honors, Vice President of the History Club, and the Community Relations Chair for the Dean’s Council of Students in the College of Arts and Letters. Additionally, she works on campus as a student worker in the History Department. She plans to attend graduate school and work in the non-profit sector after graduation from WKU.

WKU and the Mahurin Honors College have given Bridget tremendous opportunities for leadership, involvement, and achievement. Bridget is also extremely grateful for the lasting relationships she had made through the Honors College; her favorite class at WKU was HON 251: Citizen and Self because she met her best friends in it. In her free time, Bridget enjoys watching movies with friends (both good and bad), fashion and makeup, cooking, and listening to Taylor Swift. Bridget loves the Mahurin Honors College and WKU and is excited to share her love with you!
