This program is part of the Society for Lifelong Learning at WKU .
Join the staff of the Kentucky Museum for a behind-the-scenes tour to learn about how they conceive, build, and promote museum exhibits. In this class, you will visit the museum’s fabrication shop and meet with Lead Technician Charles Hurst who designs and builds our physical exhibits. Director Brent Bjorkman and Collections Curator and Registrar Sandy Staebell will then lead the class through our two
natural-world inspired exhibit spaces.

The Bowling Green Gallery Hop is a unique collaboration between the city's independent and non-profit galleries, museums, and studio centers. The Kentucky Museum and other art venues freely open their doors with extended hours for five Gallery Hop evenings. During the October 12 Gallery Hop the Kentucky Museum will show Salient Features, artist Charles Brindley.

To attend this WKU Student workshop pre-registration is required. There are a limited number of spaces in this workshop and we will close registation when it is filled. There is no workshop fee but there is a suggested donation of $5 for materials.
