"Spence Sheldon is the President of Sheldon Restaurant Group, or better known Locally as “The Donatos Pizza Guy”. Spence was born and raised here in Bowling Green, Ky. He attended Warren Central High School for his first three years, and landed the plane on his high school career at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. His love for Bowling Green, his momma, and Basketball, brought him back to Western Kentucky University where he had the opportunity to play basketball for the hilltoppers. (or as he would say, he practiced a lot for the hilltoppers). His time at WKU as a basketball player brought him two conference championships, which led to two NCAA appearances. ---And his time in the classroom brought him a degree in the Gordon ford college of business.
Following his time on the hill he ran off to Nashville to pursue Entertainment, and boy did he. But he didn’t find it behind a 6 string, he found it serving tables at PineWood Social. It is there where he fell in love with Hospitality.
Soon after he would open up his first Donatos Pizza at 24 years old and grow it 8 years later into a multi-unit operation employing 100 young leaders across two states.
Today Spence says his biggest achievements are his Wife Shelby and his two kids Sloane V and Shade. He prides himself in running his faith and family first …before he ever tries to run his company.
Spence's hobbies are Golf, frequent trips to the beach, and finding new music on youtube before it ever comes out."
