Biography

Mr. Rodney Stewart received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky where he was a scholarship athlete. Upon graduation, Mr. Stewart was a graduate academic assistant for both the U.K. football and basketball teams. Thereafter, Mr. Stewart was selected as an L.B.J. intern for the U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Stewart has over thirty years of investigative experience conducting administrative and criminal investigations. He has served on several state and federal criminal task forces leading to convictions of high-profile individuals.  Over his career, Mr. Stewart has held many different titles within the investigative profession, including Hearing Officer, Criminal Investigator, Special Investigator, Deputy Director of Investigations, First Assistant Deputy Inspector General, and Inspector General. Mr. Stewart brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE).
