WKU Information Technology Services is pleased to offer app streaming services to the campus community. Anywhere at any time, from any mobile device/tablet/computer you already have, you can securely access the apps you need for school without having to purchase, download, nor install them. They are always available, ready within moments of logging in.
Getting Started
Visit appstream.wku.edu, where you can install the Horizon app or use your device’s web browser.
Please note:
• A reliable internet connection is needed.
• The app offers better performance and features.
• Browsers have limited support for saving content to your device.
• Both methods take ~60 seconds for applications to start.
Available Software
AppStreaming offers instant access to popular apps like ArcGIS, IBM SPSS, Microsoft Office, as well as many others for departments and classes.
New apps may be requested. ITS will determine if the app is properly licensed for AppStreaming.
