Staff

Shawn Brewer is an Application Support Specialist II with Applications and Programming Support.  He has been employed by WKU since 2000.  He is a graduate of Florida College (A.A., 1994) and WKU (B.S., 1999).  Shawn also earned a Certificate in Distance Learning from the University of West Georgia (2003). He is a co-recipient of the Provost's 2007 Exemplary Achievement Award for his participation in the Information Technology Services video tutorial project, he received the Information Technology Division Red Towel Award in 2008 for exemplary job performance, and he completed the Staff Leadership Institute in 2010. Shawn has presented at a number of regional and national conferences, including Kentucky Convergence (2016, 2018), SLATE Conference (2013, 2014, 2016), and BbWorld (2017).
