About Acquisitions/Collection Services
The selection of materials to meet current and future needs of Western Kentucky University's faculty, staff, and students as well as the local citizenry is a critical service element in the Libraries' mission and is the very core of collection development. The specific curricular and disciplinary priorities for selecting and acquiring materials are set forth in Western Kentucky University Libraries Collection Development Policy (docx).
Library Resources Form for New Course Proposals
The Library Resources Form (DOCX) must be included in all new course proposals. The University Curriculum Committee approved a new form in April 2008.
