Center for Literacy
The WKU Center for Literacy offers services to WKU students. We also offer the WKU Center for Literacy Fellowship for faculty, staff, alumni, and students.
Center for Literacy
Reading to Remember, Learning to Learn, and Writing for Evidence and Argument
- Have you ever opened your textbook, started to read, and realized sometime later that your mind is elsewhere and you are retaining absolutely none of the words on the page?
- Does studying for you consist of reading and re-reading your notes until you have them memorized?
- Are you unsure of how to structure a writing assignment to meet the requirements of your assignment?
The Center for Literacy, in cooperation with the CEBS Student Success Center, provides regular workshops throughout the semester to help students meet these needs. Please email us at literacy.center@wku.edu to ask any questions you might have about our services!
