Licenses and Certifications:
Dr. Aquesha Daniels is the Director of Engagement and Impact and an Associate Professor of Management at the Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University. In her current role, she provides oversight, leads, and shapes the vision, strategy, and direction of diversity, equity, and inclusion programming within the College while working collaboratively with external partners. As a licensed Florida attorney, she has been a part of the legal field for over a decade in several capacities ranging from private practice to state governmental work. She consults in the areas of business and employment law, DEIB as well as environmental, health, and safety law. She facilitates the WKU Women in Business student organization by serving as its founding faculty advisor. In addition to her student involvement, Dr. Daniels has been heavily involved with the WKU Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) to foster student success using innovative initiatives. Her pedagogical interests focus on active learning and high-impact practices. She is also a board member of POP-UP (The People’s Opportunity Program for Underserved Populations) of the Housing Authority of Bowling Green which provides advice, opportunity, and access to funds to minority and low-income business owners.
