WKU inducts five students into new Resident Assistant Honor Society

On Monday, October 25, 2021, Western Kentucky University Housing & Residence Life inducted five students into a new WKU Gamma Delta chapter of Rho Alpha Sigma, a non-profit organization designed to recognize the outstanding efforts of Resident Assistants.
Amber Horne is a junior from Burgettstown, PA and is an English Literature major. Amber works in Meredith Hall and their favorite thing about being an RA is building a lifelong community for the residents on their floor.
Lexi Hunter is a junior from Hendersonville, TN and is a double major in Communications and Psychology with a minor in Dance. Lexi works in Pearce Ford Tower and their favorite thing about being an RA is seeing the growth in the residents during their freshman year and knowing that they helped make a difference, no matter how small.
Alexis Ayres is a senior from Corydon, IN and is a Healthcare Administration major with a minor in American Sign Language and a certificate in Long-Term Care. Alexis works in Regents Hall and their favorite thing about being an RA is being the first person they interact with on campus and impacting them throughout their freshman year.
Ella Schleuning is a sophomore from Louisville, KY and is a Forensic Psychology major. Ella works in Southwest Hall and their favorite thing about being an RA is getting to connect with residents, building a community, and helping make their college experience the best that it can be!
Crystal Bufano is a senior from Cincinnati, OH and is a double major in Criminology and Political Science with minors in Broadcasting and Organizational Leadership. Crystal works in Normal Hall and their favorite thing about being an RA is the people that they have gotten to meet along the way.
