Panhellenic, NPHC, and IFC Executive Officers at the SGLA Conference in Atlanta
The WKU Panhellenic and IFC Councils were recognized at the Southeastern Greek Leadership Association (SGLA) Conference Feb. 10-13 in Atlanta.
The Panhellenic Council won the Operational Excellence Award and the Health, Safety, and Accountability Award. The WKU Panhellenic Council was one of two councils to win multiple awards at the conference.
“SGLA was a wonderful experience for the Panhellenic Council,” WKU Panhellenic President Sydney Schneider said. “The various sessions provided many great ideas we plan to incorporate in our council through the next year. The council is also very proud of all their hard work and the recognition we received. I am incredibly grateful for these 13 women for constantly going above and beyond; we cannot be more thankful we were able to experience such an engaging conference.”
The InterFraternity Council won the Operational Excellence Award, Council Impact Award, Health, Safety, and Accountability Award, and was recognized as the Victor Felts IFC Council of the Year. The WKU IFC was the only council to win all three awards at the conference.
“The InterFraternity Council had an incredible time at SGLA,” said WKU IFC President Ethan Elliott. “We were able to better ourselves in multiple ways that pertain to our positions here on the Hill. We were proud to be recognized as the IFC Council of the Year and we are looking forward to what is to come. Go Tops!”
The Southeastern Greek Leadership Association conference hosted 42 schools from all over the country.
