WKU professor publishes new book on gifted education

Dr. Julia Link Roberts, a WKU Distinguished Professor, is one of the editors of a new book on gifted education published on June 30, 2022.
The publisher, Routledge, says, “Now in its Second Edition, Introduction to Gifted Education presents a well-researched yet accessible introduction to gifted education, focusing on equity and supporting diverse learners. Inclusive in nature, this essential text is filled with varied perspectives and approaches to the critical topics and issues affecting gifted education.” This book “is the definitive textbook for courses introducing teachers to gifted education.”
Roberts is the Mahurin Professor of Gifted Studies at WKU. She is also Executive Director of The Center for Gifted Studies and The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science and is the recent past president of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children and The Association for the Gifted.
Tracy Ford Inman, a consultant in gifted education and retired Associate Director of The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU, and Jennifer H. Robins from Baylor University are co-editors of the book.
