Avery Wells crowned WKU's 2023 Coming Home King

Avery Wells of Louisville was crowned Western Kentucky University’s 2023 Coming Home King on Saturday night (February 25).
Wells, the son of Andre and Antissa Wells, is a Political Science major and African American Studies minor and was sponsored by National Pan-Hellenic Council and Alpha Xi Delta. He was one of 23 candidates for Coming Home King who were recognized during halftime of the WKU vs. UAB basketball game at Diddle Arena.
First runner-up was Harrison Snyder of Louisville, the son of Mark and Dee Snyder. He is a Broadcasting major and Digital Advertising minor and was sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi and Sigma Chi.
Second runner-up was Adan Canizalez of Nashville, Tennessee, the son of Adan and Erica Canizalez. He is a Biology major with a minor in Psychology and was sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha.
