WKU Student Activities hosts 2023 Multicultural Retreat

The 2023 Multicultural Retreat, sponsored by the WKU Student Activities office, was held Saturday (March 4) at the Eva and Jim Martens Alumni Center. Students from varying backgrounds and experiences engaged in conversations around identity, culture and experiences related to multiculturalism at WKU. Session topics for this year’s Multicultural Retreat included mindfulness, difficult conversations, Chinese Calligraphy, Black history trivia, and tie dye T-shirts. Twenty-five WKU students and community members attended the retreat. The end of the day was wrapped up by weaving together questions, goals, and intentions that students want to carry with them outside of the retreat.
