Dear Colleagues,
As the semester ends, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your unwavering dedication and commitment to our students and their success. Your passion for teaching, scholarship, and service has been evident throughout this semester, and it is a true privilege to work alongside such a talented and purposeful Faculty.
I am especially impressed by the innovative teaching methods being employed across campus to engage and inspire our students in and out of the classroom, the depth of your scholarship and research which continues to advance the frontiers of knowledge and make a positive impact on our world, and lastly your willingness to give of your time to all levels of service on campus to support our university community.
Lastly, I want to encourage you to take time to rest and recharge. The work you do is demanding, and it is important that you take care of yourselves, both physically and mentally. Thank you again for all that you do, day in and day out, to make our institution a vibrant and successful community. I look forward to continuing to collaborate with you on the important work of educating the next generation of leaders.
I wish you all a safe and enjoyable summer, and I look forward to seeing you on campus soon.
Thank you,
Robert “Bud” Fischer
