Many people do not consider this, but caffeine can be very addictive. Once our bodies get into the habit of constantly using caffeine, we began to crave the boost that we get from it. Shaking hands and sweaty skin are all indicators of a caffeine addiction. Dehydration, PMS, and emotional fatigue are the other negative effects. Additionally, for most people who believe energy drinks are healthy, they are wrong. Energy drinks are nothing more than sodas. In fact, the only difference between a soda and an energy drink is that a soda has double the amount of caffeine. Energy drinks can lead to dehydration increases blood pressure and causes an irregular or quickened heartbeat. Not to mention, once the energy drink wears off, an individual may feel more sluggish than before.
Listening to music for an hour, touching rough objects, sitting in a well-lit area, smelling peppermint or lemon, and tasting tangy citrusy flavors are all natural ways to boost your energy without having to deal with negative and artificial side effects!
