Why Knot Us inducts 19 new members

The Why Knot Us Black Male Initiative inducted 19 WKU students in a ceremony hosted by the Cynthia and George Nichols III Intercultural Student Engagement Center.
This is the fourth year of Why Knot Us, a program designed to establish a sense of community and connectedness through social bonding activities, academic and professional workshops, and engagement in cultural travel experiences, which assists in the students’ retention and persistence to graduation from Western Kentucky University.
Each inductee was coated and pinned during the ceremony at the Downing Student Union Auditorium.
Members of the Michael Coleman Class include:
- Orion Armstrong, a freshman sports management major from Nashville, Tennessee.
- Marquavis Baker, a sophomore computer science major from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
- Yhon Bazira, a freshman manufacturing engineering major from St. Louis, Missouri.
- Mark Calloway, a sophomore sports management major from Radcliff, Kentucky.
- Malick Diallo, a freshman engineering technology management major from Louisville, Kentucky.
- Xavier Dowlen, a sophomore sports management major from Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
- Mohammed Fahnbulleh, a sophomore civil engineering major from Louisville, Kentucky.
- Jaylin Heater, a freshman music education major from Bowling Green, Kentucky.
- Jaden Marshall, a freshman journalism major from Louisville, Kentucky.
- Malijah McGill, a sophomore sports management major from Nashville, Tennessee.
- Jordan Nunnally, a freshman broadcasting major from Louisville, Kentucky.
- Kylan Patterson, a freshman business administration major from Madison, Tennessee.
- Javaughn Perry, a freshman civil engineering major from Nashville, Tennessee
- Kyle Roberts, a sophomore sports management major from Atlanta, Georgia.
- Jakota Warfield, a sophomore finance major from Franklin, Kentucky.
- Deontay Webb, a freshman broadcasting major from Louisville, Kentucky.
- Avery Wells, a senior political science major from Louisville, Kentucky.
- Sean Williams, a freshman mechanical engineering major from Nashville, Tennessee.
- Dayvon Woodard, a sophomore geological sciences major from Nashville, Tennessee.
