WKU hosting 7th Interfaith Dialogue on Earth Care November 16

The 7th Interfaith Dialogue on Earth Care will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (November 16) with a screening of Dirt! The Movie followed by roundtable discussions on Religion, Science and Sustainability.
The event, hosted by WKU’s Department of History with campus and community partners, will be held at Jody Richards Hall Auditorium.
Roundtable 1 at 7:15 p.m. will be led by Matt Powell (City Environmental Manager), Dr. Ram Pasupuleti (Hindu Temple), and Michael Sellas (Holy Apostolic Orthodox Church).
Roundtable 2 at 7:45 p.m., a student-centered session on religion and the environment, will feature students from the Mahurin Honors College and English Department.
In Roundtable 3 at 8:15 p.m., faculty members Dr. Stephen McCarty, Dr. Gordon Baylis and Professor Bella Mukonyora will share their ideas on teaching, research and service to society in a Dialogue on Pedagogies for Sustainability.
Closing remarks from Professor Bella Mukonyora, WKU Department of History, will begin at 8:45 p.m.
Parking will be available in the Chestnut Street South Lot.
