WKU Housing Wins Two “Markie” Awards

WKU Housing Wins Two “Markie” Awards

WKU Housing & Residence Life received two awards at the American Marketing Association of Bowling Green’s annual “Markies” awards, hosted on November 28, 2023, at the Mint Gaming Hall in Bowling Green, KY.  

The team won “Gold” in the Logo/Branding category for their “HOME” branding, featuring WKU’s mascot, Big Red, as the “O” in “HOME.” Branded pieces include stickers, keychains, business cards, table tents, large foam letters standing nearly 4 ft. tall, and more.  

Additionally, Housing & Residence Life Marketing Coordinator, Kirsten Hooks, was named "New Member of the Year." Kirsten is a WKU alumna who will be graduating with her Master of Business Administration in December 2023.  

The American Marketing Association (AMA) of Bowling Green provides networking, professional development, peer recognition and community involvement for marketing professionals in the Bowling Green-Warren County area. Learn more at https://www.pmabg.org/
