CEBS Wins Awards at Office of Research and Creative Activities Reception

The College of Education and Behavioral Sciences is celebrating receiving multiple awards at the 2023 Office of Research and Creative Activities Reception held on December 6.
CEBS received the Highest Amount of External Funding in Fiscal Year 2023, with a total of $7,313,401 in external funding. Dean Corinne Murphy accepted the award on behalf of the college.
The Prolific Proposer award is given to faculty and staff who submit four or more grant proposals in a fiscal year. Dr. Christina Noel, an Associate Professor in the School of Teacher Education and Dr. Amy Hood, the Executive Director of Training & Technical Assistance Services (TTAS), were honored as Prolific Proposers.
The Million Dollar Award is given to faculty and staff that have reached one million dollars in externally award funds. Dr. Mary Lloyd Moore, Executive Director of the Clinical Education Complex and Dr. Noel both received this amazing recognition.
Finally, Dr. Ellen Casale, Assistant Professor in School of Teacher Education and the School of Leadership and Professional Studies and Mr. Kent Johnson, Military Student Services Director both were named a First Time Lead Awardee for receiving their first external grant.
