22 WKU students candidates for 2024 Coming Home King

WKU’s 2024 Coming Home King will be crowned on February 15. The 2023 Coming Home King was Avery Wells (center); first runner-up was Harrison Snyder (right) and second runner-up was Adan Canizalez (left).
Twenty-two Western Kentucky University students are candidates for the 2024 Coming Home King.
Candidates will participate in numerous activities, including a volunteer project with the Barren River Area Safe Space on Saturday (February 10), an interview on Tuesday (February 13), and a dinner celebration on Thursday (February 15). The king will be crowned Thursday (February 15) during halftime of Hilltopper Basketball’s game versus UTEP Miners. Tipoff is 6 p.m. at Diddle Arena.
WKU students will cast their votes for the Coming Home King on Monday (February 12) via TopNet.
The 2024 Coming Home King Candidates are:
- Colby Alexander of Nolensville, Tennessee, the son of Jason and Jennifer Alexander. He is a Journalism major and Business Administration minor and is sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa.
- Ryan Alvey of Versailles, the son of Scott and Kimberly Alvey. He is a Mechanical Engineering major and is sponsored by WKU Spirit Masters.
- Coleman Clark of Danville, the son of Jonathan and Lori-Anne Clark. He is an Exercise Science major and is sponsored by the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council.
- TJ Fleming of St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Terrence and Christina Fleming. He is an Exercise Science major and is sponsored by the National Pan-Hellenic Council and Alpha Xi Delta.
- Jacob Grabeel (III) of Somerset, the son of J.J. and Jill Grabeel. He is a Broadcasting and Public Relations major and is sponsored by Chi Omega.
- Ryan Greenwood of Louisville, the son of Kevin and Kristy Greenwood. He is a Civil Engineering major and is sponsored by Sigma Phi Epsilon.
- Nathan Griffin of St. Leon, Indiana, the son of Matt and Jen Griffin. He is a Mechanical Engineering major and Systems Engineering minor and is sponsored by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
- Jacob Holbrook of Morehead, the son of John and Sarah Holbrook. He is a BFA Theater major with a concentration in Performing and is sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha.
- Elijah Hopkins of Adairville, the son of Michael and Emily Hopkins. He is a Journalism and Political Science major and is sponsored by Honors Toppers.
- Jacob Kitchen of Edwardsville, Illinois, the son of Jason and Teresa Kitchen. He is a Management major and Finance minor and is sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi and Sigma Chi.
- Nathan “Reed” McCuan of Metropolis, Illinois, the son of Nathan McCuan and Annalisa Koch. He is an Accounting major and is sponsored by Delta Zeta.
- Beau Mobley of Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of John and Sheena Mobley. He is a Marketing Sales major and Computer Science minor and is sponsored by Alpha Tau Omega and Delta Sigma Pi.
- Cade Morgan of Springhill, Tennessee, the son of Bobby and Sonja Morgan. He is a Financial Planning major and is sponsored by Phi Gamma Delta.
- Grant Oller of Owensboro, the son of Nick and Kelly Oller. He is a Biology major and Psychology minor and is sponsored by Phi Mu.
- Nate Partin of Barbourville, the son of Cameron and Mynekia Hudson. He is a Health Science major and Health Care Administration minor and is sponsored by Kappa Delta.
- Steven “Donte” Reed of Barbourville, the son of Eugenia Reed. He is a Biology major and Entrepreneurship minor and is sponsored by the Student Government Association.
- Rush Robinson of Benton, the son of Paul and Paula Robinson. He is a Psychology, Philosophy, and Sociology major and is sponsored by the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences.
- Preston Romanov of Louisville, the son of Andre and Lana Romanov. He is a Public Relations major and Political Science minor and is sponsored by Order of Omega.
- Ethan Taylor of Bowling Green, the son of Charles and Carrie Taylor. He is a Personal Financial Planning major and Economics minor and is sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi.
- Sebastian Tingle of Somerset, son of David and Misty Tingle. He is a BFA Theatre Tech and Design and BFA Film major and is sponsored by Potter College Dean’s Council of Students.
- Mason Wright of Bowling Green, son of Daniel and Suzanne Wright. He is a Finance major and Health Administration and Entrepreneurship minor and is sponsored by Lambda Chi Alpha.
- Brodie Young of Benton, son of Jacky and Julie Young. He is an Exercise Science major and Pre-Chiro minor and is sponsored by Alpha Gamma Delta.
