The Metals Innovation Initiative Announces Strategic Sustainability Initiatives with Requests for Information

The Metals Innovation Initiative (MI2) has taken a significant step toward advancing its sustainability goals with the issuance of two Requests for Information (RFIs) on Friday, February 2nd. These RFIs mark the initiation of two key initiatives within the organization's Sustainability strategic focus area.

Responding entities are invited to contribute valuable insights to shape MI2's approach to sustainability. The deadline for responses to both RFIs is set for March 1, 2024, paving the way for two subsequent Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that will delve deeper into these initiatives.

To streamline the process, MI2 requests entities intending to submit an RFI to confirm their intent by writing to MI2 by February 16, 2024. Information on submitting that intent can be found in the RFI instructions.
