WKU College of Health and Human Services IDFM 432 Fashion Merchandising class will host a fashion show on Monday, February 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the DSU Auditorium.
The theme for the show is Life is Your Runway: Pure Imagination. Students hope to provide a one-of-a-kind experience by showcasing the endless opportunities the Fashion Merchandising program offers.
According to Fashion Merchandising senior Landen Minto, “This is a great opportunity for WKU and the community abroad to support the program, and for undecided or incoming freshmen to consider taking their college journey with us. As a class, we wanted to emphasize the importance of the fashion industry and provide a platform to showcase the program theatrically, as well as highlight the Fashion Merchandising program.”
Along with the Fashion Merchandising program, there are many individuals and students, on and off campus, volunteering as models for the fashion show. Dillard’s Inc. from the Greenwood Mall in Bowling Green is the title sponsor of the show. Dillard’s allowed the class to select clothing items from their store for the show, and helped the class make this event a reality.
