Join the Kentucky Museum and The Mystic Arts Association to celebrate the unusual! This Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. is the 2024 Spring Art Market at the Kentucky Museum - a FREE family event that entertains and inspires.
Take a walk through the museum to admire the brilliant exhibits before checking out the second floor market, where you can shop the works of talented local artists and craftsmen. Be sure to visit a Mystic Arts Association info booth to pick up your Tote Bag for ease of shopping while supporting their community-building efforts.
Next, stop by your favorite food trucks for a delicious bite to eat, and then check out demonstrations and workshops for some unique entertainment. Local food trucks Totally Baked Pretzels, Pork-U-Pine Grill, Baked by Pegan, Kora's Konas, and Wicked Brew will be on the circle drive beginning at 10 a.m.
Don't forget to bring your yoga mats and join an energizing morning yoga practice in nature with Jessica from the Nightingale as well as Flow with Spencer and Breezy. We will move mindfully with intention as we connect to our breath, energy, and spirit.
Over 30 vendors will offer unique gifts and demonstrations throughout the second floor of the Kentucky Museum. Demonstrators include the Sea Queen of Kentucky, chainmail jewelry with ChainsbyC, cosplay creations with the BG Mandalorians, readings with Jane, and Drag Queen Storytime. Next to the Felts Log Cabin, the Kentucky Forge Council, WKU League of Sculptors, and South Bluff Forge will demonstrate metalworking traditions of the region.
You can also take part in workshops and enjoy mesmerizing performances. This event promises to be a fun-filled day that you won't want to miss!
Every purchase helps support their small businesses and grow the arts community of Bowling Green.
