"Tales of Old" is an artistic journey through mythology and folklore. The exhibition is open to all South Central Kentucky residents living within 75 miles of Bowling Green, age 18 and older. This is a local juried exhibition with works selected for exhibit by TMAA and approved by Kentucky Museum.
The deadline for applications is April 5th, 2024. Entries should be completed online by clicking here. Entries emailed directly to the organization or museum will not be accepted.
ARTISTS - Please note:
- All art works must be installation ready with appropriate hanging materials and have a label with the title, medium, and artist's name affixed to the back of the work.
- Artworks containing natural materials must be properly seasoned and treated. The Mystic Arts Association and Kentucky Museum reserve the right to deny works that are not properly treated.
- Artworks must be original and completed in the last four (4) years.
- Due to the nature of the venue, no artwork containing extreme nudity, political themes, or of an otherwise controversial nature will be accepted.
