Western Kentucky University supporters can now share their school pride with the new affinity College Visa® debit card from U.S. Bank. The card launched on May 12, 2024, and features the famous Hilltoppers mascot, Big Red.

Western Kentucky University features a U.S. Bank branch in the WKU Store, conveniently located inside the Downing Student Union at 1906 College Heights Blvd.

“WKU’s partnership with U.S. Bank offers convenient banking services for our students, faculty, staff and alumni, and we are pleased to enhance this longstanding relationship,” said Jace Lux, director of Media Relations and WKU spokesperson. “We know the entire WKU community will enjoy seeing our beloved mascot, Big Red, on their new affinity Visa® debit card.”

Featuring Big Red on the affinity Visa® debit card signifies our commitment to the WKU family.”

This is the bank’s first Visa® affinity debit card design with Western Kentucky University. The Western Kentucky University affinity College Visa® debit card is the eighth in the program which started in 2020. So far, more than 64,000 clients have chosen to show their school pride right on their debit card.

The new cards can be ordered through usbank.com, by using the award-winning U.S. Bank Mobile App, or when visiting a local branch.
