New art classes will be available for the South Central Kentucky community starting this July. The Kentucky Museum is thrilled to announce a new partnership with BGArtClass that will present regular arts classes for the public. Classes will be held on most Fridays and Saturdays starting in July, with the first classes focusing on "Art Night Out" (July 12 & 13) and "Handmade Jewelry" (July 19 & 20).
BGArtClass is run by local artists Aaron Kusik and Jensine Robinson. Kusik is the owner of GrimStylesArt, an arts company that makes dice and accessories focused on Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Magic the Gathering, and other tabletop games. GrimStylesArt tours conventions nationally, and has over 17,000 followers on social media. Robinson is a graduate of the WKU Department of Art & Design (Class of 2020), artist at GrimStylesArt, and previously worked as an arts educator with the Kentucky Museum's Side by Side program with Arts for All Kentucky.
Registration for July classes is now open on BGArtClass.com. For more information, please contact Aaron and Jensine at grimstylesart@gmail.com.
