41 WKU students candidates for 2024 Homecoming queen

Forty-one students are candidates for 2024 Homecoming queen at WKU.
The 2024 queen will be crowned Saturday, Nov. 16, during halftime of WKU Football vs. Louisiana Tech at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.
This year’s Homecoming theme is “Roaring Red.” Queen candidates will participate in activities during Homecoming Week including a fall social on Sunday (Nov. 10), an interview on Tuesday (Nov. 12), a banquet on Wednesday (Nov. 13), a volunteer experience and the Homecoming parade/Big Red’s Roar on Friday (Nov. 15). WKU students will cast their votes for queen in online balloting on Monday (Nov. 11).
Homecoming queen candidates are:
- Caitlyn Blandford of Owensboro, Kentucky, daughter of Craig and Christy Blandford. Blandford is an Architectural Science and Interior Design major and is sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi and Kappa Sigma.
- Jozee Bond of O'Fallon, Illinois, daughter of Todd Bond and the late Haley Bond. Bond is a Human Resources Management major and is sponsored by Alpha Gamma Delta and Phi Gamma Delta.
- Josey Cheatham of Borden, Indiana, daughter of Toby and Sherry Cheatham. Cheatham is a Biology major with a minor in Chemistry and is sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi, Delta Tau Delta and Sigma Nu.
- Rachel Chrisman of Lexington, Kentucky, daughter of David and Jamie Chrisman. Chrisman is a Health Sciences and Organizational Leadership major with a minor in Healthcare Administration and is sponsored by Circle of Sisterhood.
- Kaitlyn Eversole of Franklin, Kentucky, daughter of Brandy and John Eversole. Eversole is an Interdisciplinary Studies major with a concentration in Education and is sponsored by Student Accessibility Ambassadors.
- Addison Falkner of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of Jeffrey and Rheanne Falkner. Falkner is a Political Science and Psychology major and is sponsored by WKU Spirit Masters.
- Annie Finch of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of Donald and Lisa Finch. Finch is an Elementary Education major and is sponsored by Student Government Association.
- Andrea Florence of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, daughter of Stephanie and Richard Spear and John and Amanda McNeely. Florence is a Computer Science major and is sponsored by Student Accessibility Resource Center.
- Shayna Garrett of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, daughter of Jay and Stacie Garrett. Garrett is a Communication Sciences and Disorders major and is sponsored by College of Health and Human Services.
- Kaleigh Goodwin of Spring Hill, Tennessee, daughter of Brandy and Phillip Eddlemon. Goodwin is a Political Science and Professional Legal Studies major and is sponsored by Pre-Law Student Association.
- Caitlin Hinds of Lexington, Kentucky, daughter of Sara and Tom Merideth and Shawn Hinds. Hinds is a Psychology and Criminology major with a minor in Sociology and is sponsored by Department of Society, Culture, Crime, and Justice Studies Ambassadors.
- Mollie Hoagland of Corydon, Indiana. Hoagland is a Legal Studies, Political Science and Professional Legal Studies major with a minor in Criminology and is sponsored by Potter College of Arts & Letters Dean’s Council of Students.
- Sarah Holt of Springfield, Tennessee, daughter of John and Liz Holt. Holt is a Civil Engineering major and is sponsored by Society of Women Engineers.
- Riley Hurm of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of James and Lynette Hurm. Hurm is a Communication Sciences and Disorders major and is sponsored by HonorsToppers.
- Ashlyn Johnson of Evansville, Indiana, daughter of Dirk and Heather Johnson. Johnson is a Marketing major with a minor in Business Data Analytics & Creativity and is sponsored by Women in Business.
- Rory Kiser of Bardstown, Kentucky, daughter of Nathan and Natalie Kiser. Kiser is a Public Relations and Advertising major with a minor in Strategic Communication and is sponsored by Student Alumni Ambassadors.
- Keeley McKnight of Danville, Kentucky, daughter of Margaret Myers and Clifton McKnight. McKnight is a Civil Engineering major and is sponsored by American Society of Civil Engineers.

- Htee Shee Paw of Bowling Green, Kentucky, daughter of Kyaw Nyount and Paw Yen. Paw is a Professional Legal Studies and Corporate and Organizational Communication major and is sponsored by TRIO Student Support Services.
- Madison Payne of Barbourville, Kentucky, daughter of Scott and Angie Payne. Payne is a Biochemistry major and is sponsored by Chemistry Club and the Chemistry Department.
