WKU in Elizabethtown Signs Two Additional Degree Offerings with ECTC’s Robbins University Center

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – WKU in Elizabethtown and the Robbins University Center at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) have signed an amendment to their existing agreement, expanding the number of WKU degrees available in the Hardin County region.
The amendment adds two new programs: a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Administration and a Master of Arts in Education - Student Affairs in Higher Education. Both programs will be available starting in Fall 2025, with courses offered both in-person and online.
WKU continues to be the Robbins University Center’s largest transfer partner. With the addition of these two programs, 14 degrees are now available through WKU in Elizabethtown.
“WKU in Elizabethtown is growing, and our partnership with ECTC and the Robbins University Center is cornerstone in our strategy,” said. Dr. Derick Strode, Director of WKU Regional Campuses. “We are thrilled to bring more WKU opportunities to local students.”
The official signing of the amendment took place on Friday, February 21, 2025 at ECTC, marking another milestone in the outstanding partnership.
“ECTC and WKU have a strong longtime partnership, allowing students to earn bachelor's degrees without leaving the region,” said Dr. Telly Sellars, Vice President of Academic Affairs at ECTC. “As ECTC works to increase seamless advanced degree pathways through the Robbins University Center, we welcome WKU's addition of these two programs.”
WKU has offered classes in Elizabethtown for 60 years—since 1964. Currently, WKU in Elizabethtown serves 760 students through in-person and Online courses in Hardin and adjacent counties.
By expanding its academic offerings in Elizabethtown, WKU continues to provide accessible, high-quality education to students in the region. These new programs will help meet workforce demands and support students in achieving their educational and career goals.
